Become a Leader

Adult Trained Leaders

Parents are the lifeblood of our pack. Without them, our program would be limited and our Scouts would be missing out on the fun.

There are opportunities to help at all levels. Examples might be:

  • Preparing flyers for events

  • Managing our website

  • Coordinating an event or outing

  • Organizing fundraising

  • Leading a Den

  • Becoming the next Cubmaster

  • and many many others

It is very easy to become a Trained Leader in our pack. ALL the required training can be taken online - so you can take the training at your own pace.

Steps to Leadership

  1. Talk to a current leader (Cubmaster, Committee Chair, Den Leader) about your willingness to help or send an email to cubmaster@pack201.org to start the conversation

  2. Discuss which role would best fit your talents and comfort level

  3. Get registered (we'll help you with the paperwork)

  4. Complete online Youth Protection Training and Position Specific Training available on the BSA website
