The pinewood derby is scheduled for Jan. 14th (not 21st as some sources have printed). If you're having any difficulty completing your cars, please contact Jason or Bob, as stated in the pinewood derby rules and instructions. I'm attaching those rules to the post below. Check-in will begin at 9:30 and close at 10:00. A light breakfast and pizza lunch will be provided.

I have added links (see Links) to the uniform inspection sheets so that parents can find the proper location for insignia on the uniforms. Please don't get worried if you don't have the official hat and pants. A proper shirt is sufficient, though many kids do also have the den-appropriate neckerchief.

So far, we have not been successful in getting hand-me-down uniforms from the Troop 208. But, we will continue to look for used shirts. If you have an older boy (Webelos?) who has outgrown a shirt, please consider donating it to the pack so that we can pass it on to a new boy.

Tiger den meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at Grace United Methodist church with the exception of Nov. 23, with is rescheduled for Nov. 30. Individual parents have volunteered to lead meetings until through 11/30. (Thank you!) We are still looking for a permanent den leader.

The wolf den will be meeting at Ss. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church (map) rather than at GUMC. This includes the first meeting schedule for Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 pm.

The Tiger Cubs will meet at GUMC on Sep 28 at 6:30pm. We will discuss subsequent meeting schedule with parents and start the Tigers on their path to becoming Bobcats and Tigers. For more information, email or call Kerry.

The Webelos Den meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30. Meetings will be at Grace United Methodist Church unless otherwise noted. Contact Den Leader Scott Wagner for more information.

The Wolf Den meetings will be held on the first and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30. Meetings are expected to be held at Grace United Methodist Church, but this is not yet confirmed, so be on the lookout for updates. Also, some meetings involve activities at other locations, such as Oct. 4th's hike at Nara Nature Trail. Check the calendar for details. Contact Den Leader Monica Aho for more information.

Pack 201's 2011 fall round up meeting will take place at 6:30 pm on Sept. 12th at Grace United Methodist Church. Boys in first through fifth grades and their families are invited to come see what Cub Scouts is all. This year's round up will include games and activities lead by Michigan Tech ROTC students who were former Boy Scouts. These activities will apply towards rank advancement for the boys.
